Introduction
On October 17, 2006, Megan Meier died with her parents, Christina “Tina”, Ronald “Ron”, and sister, Allison on the side. The Meiers’s world would change forever. Her death was not known until a year later in an online newspaper article. Megan’s death would trigger a massive firestorm of outrage a year later. It would become a very polarizing case that triggered strong emotions and likely could have implications for the Internet. What made it worse was it struck a nerve because everyone was 13 years old and can related to Megan. What is very clear is that Lori Drew and other company involved would become the most hated people. What could drive Lori Drew into a world of madness? Was she an overprotective mother or a raging psychopath ready to go off?
Megan Taylor Meier
Megan Taylor Meier
Megan Taylor Meier was born on November 6, 1992 in Dardenne Prairie, Missouri to Ron and Tina Meiers. Megan had a younger sister, Allison, who was a couple years younger than she was. Ron and Tina were high school sweethearts and took each other to the Senior Prom at their high school year. Not too long after they graduated high school, both got married. Ron Meier was a successful machine and tool maker and Tina Meier was a real estate agent. Both were successful families that they owned a second home in Florida and a yacht. They used it for their vacations. The Meiers were image of success and they did this without going to college.
Megan was a typical teenage girl who did a lot things that adolescents do. The parents were very protective of Megan. She developed a good relationship with her parents, especially father. She had a MySpace page with the handle “Megan Babi”. She befriended a person named Josh Evans, who claimed to be 16 years old and was athletic in September. Things were going well and everything made Megan happy. As Megan was using the computer, her parents monitored her very closely. At one point, the Meiers even called the police because some of the messages were sexual in nature and that bothered them.
October 16, 2006
Ron and Tina Meier
It was a typical fall Monday and Megan went to school and handed out birthday invitations, which was in November. She was picked up from school by her mother than dropped off at home. Tina took her younger daughter, Allison to the orthodontist. However, Megan was upset and Tina came and told her to log off. Tina had to go with Allison. When, they arrived at the orthodontist, Tina called Megan to make sure that she did log off, which she did not. She was dealing with nasty insults. Than Megan calls again telling her mother she is being subjected to nasty insults. She was being called “fat” and “slut”.
However this time, she was being cyberbullied by multiple people online, probably as many as ten people. She was using every insult she could think of. Her mother told her to log off and turn off the computer. Megan did log off the computer as ordered by her mother. It was a rainy night and Megan was found hanging in her closet with a belt. There was a loud hysterical scream from her mother, Christina “Tina” Meier. She was severely deprived her of oxygen to her body. Neighbor Blaine Buckles did CPR on Megan as the ambulance took her to the hospital into the rainy night. Doctors and medical personals tried to save Megan’s life. All her organs were failing one by one. Oxygen was cut off from the hanging. Despite all attempts to save her life, she sadly died the next day, with her parents on her side.
Funeral/Grief
The Meiers arranged the funeral for their daughter instead of planning for her fourteenth birthday. The worst thing a parent has to deal with, a loss of a child, through suicide. Many people attended her funeral. They were many sobs and tears at the funeral. Megan was in her polka dot party dress in the casket. She was buried in a private funeral. Sadly, Megan did not see her fourteenth birthday party.
Once the Meiers buried their daughter, they saw a grief counselor. Tina went to a counseling group for parents who lost their child from suicide. The Meiers made futile contacts with Josh Evans and disappeared from MySpace. Sadly, the Meier family got torn up even more after Megan died and started blaming each other. They even filed restraing orders against each other and eventually divorced. Sadly, Allison had to watch her whole family fall apart because she lost her older sister, Megan.
What Really Happened
Ashley Grills
One of the teenagers, Jessica Mulford, who was involved in the prank had a guilty conscious. The Mulfords did not know the Meiers too well. Jessica was the daughter of Michelle Mulford, a single mother. Jessica told her mother about what really happened and that Josh Evans was a creation of Lori and Sarah Drew. Jessica thought it was okay to have access to the Josh Evan’s My Space page, since it was authorized by an adult. The Mulfords had to tell the truth about what really happened.
About six weeks later, which was around Thanksgiving, Mrs. Mulford went to her a car still in her pajamas and parked on the sidewalk and ran to Fort Zumwalt West Middle School counselor’s office and fell onto the floor sobbing uncontrollably. For the next couple hours, she told the counselor what exactly caused Megan to commit suicide.
There was no Josh Evans and it was a creation of Lori and Curt Drew with their daughter Sarah. The Drews wanted to know if Megan was talking bad about their daughter on MySpace. It stemmed from the fact that Megan called Sarah a “Lesbian”, which Tina told her to stop it. Also, Sarah forgave Megan for calling her that. One would wonder if Lori Drew and Ashley Grills did it because of jealousy towards the Meiers and possibly homophobia, in particular, the internalized form. Initially, Curt was opposed to it because the thought it was a bad idea. However, he did nothing to stop this prank. Perhaps, he scoffed at the notion that they would not follow through the prank or he tacitly accepted it and want to get even. After all, Curt Drew was just as pushy like his wife. The person who actually setup the MySpace page was Ashley Grills, who was 18 at the time. She was a temporary employee for Drew’s business and a friend of the family. Josh Evans first appeared sometimes in September of 2006. He said he was from Florida and was home schooled.
Grills was the one who was mostly doing the dirty work with Josh Evans. Also, Lori and Sarah Drew, and later on Jessica Mulford were involved. Jessica was encouraged to participate because the adults were ones doing it and thought it was okay to do it. The reason why Lori Drew instigated it was that Megan had a falling out with her daughter. They were once close friends and than things went downhill from there. While Lori Drew and her partners in crime were going on with the charade, “Josh Evans” was in contact with another person only identified as “S.D.”, who is also about Megan’s age. “S.D.” gave her contact information to Josh, so they can talk to each other. “S.D” was part of a group of teens that hung out that was made up of mostly girls and a couple boys. Perhaps, Lori Drew’s real plan was not just going after Megan, but other people who she felt slighted her and her daughter, Sarah. Lori Drew wanted to make their lives a living Hell, like she intended with Megan after she felt that she slighted Sarah. Ron Meier has said that he knows who “S.D.” and is Megan’s classmate.
Over time, Ashley Grills and Sarah Drew wanted to end this charade. Both felt it was wrong to do this prank. However their pleas fell on deaf ears and Lori Drew even went as far as bragging about this prank to her hairdresser and one of her business client. Sarah probably wanted to be friends with Megan again and got tired of her mother’s charade and said enough is enough. Lori Drew wanted to continue this ruse in which she wanted to go out in public and humiliate Megan about her talking bad about Sarah. One would have to wonder if Drew’s motive to harass Megan was out of jealousy and resentment towards the Meiers, specifically Tina Meier. In fact Ashley Grills became desperate to end it and wanted to make Megan enraged to end this prank. She wanted Megan to leave Josh alone and have the prank over. Ashley wrote this sentence that would lead to Megan’s suicide:
“Everybody in O’Fallon knows how you are. You are a bad person and everybody hates you. Have a shitty rest of your life. The world would be a better place without you.”
That comment would prove fatal because Megan was distraught and she hung herself with a belt in the closet. Also, that comment would come back and haunt the Drews and Grills. When Megan died, guilt begin to set in for Grills. She ran desperately to the Drews and Curt Drew yelled at them to delete the account, which they did. Lori Drew than told Grills to keep quiet about it. She knew that Megan had a history of depression and they might of pushed her over the edge and made her feel less guilty about it.
The day after the Meiers buried Megan, they visited the Drews and they comforted the family. The day before, the Drews went to the funeral. Also, they attended Sarah’s birthday party, but Ron had to leave when the song “Happy Birthday” was being sung because it was upsetting to him since his daughter died not too long before her birthday. The Meiers also attended Curt’s fiftieth birthday, which would be his last regular birthday. Also, the Meiers had another daughter, named Allison, who was eleven at the time. They made cookies together and for Christmas the Drews asked the Meiers to store the Foosball table.
Mrs. Mulford was pondering what to do next. How was she going to tell the Meiers about who Josh Evans was really was. After all, the Drews offered comfort and even gave them flowers to the Meiers after the funeral. Mulford decided to allow the Meiers to come to the counselor’s office to tell what really happened. The Mulfords apologized to the Meiers and there were hugs and tears with some mix of rage. The Meiers thanked Mrs. Mulford for coming forward and telling the truth. They all left the middle school for home with the feeling of anger and frustration with some feeling of relief of knowing what happened.
Lori Janine Drew
Lori Janine Shreeves was born on March 31, 1959 to Jerry and Helen Shreeves in Dover, Delaware. However, she grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and went to school there. Her father was a banker and worked for the Federal Reserves in Kansas City. Lori has a younger brother named Todd Shreeves. One of her classmates and friend, Teresa Henderson, described Lori Drew as a normal person who do things that a typical teenager would do like covering trees with toilet paper. She graduated from Winnetonka High in 1977. Lori attended Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 1981.
Curt Drew
Lori Shreeves marries Curt Dennis Drew in St. Louis County, Missouri in November of 1989. She epitomized the American dream, by being a homeowner and owning her own business, which was flourishing. Many people would be envious of Lori Drew. It was an advertising and coupon business called the Drew Ad-Vantage. Drew was a member of the St. Peter Chamber of Commerce. They also had two children, Sarah and Christopher. If one was to measure success in life, Lori Drew would be considered a successful person.
However, there were many things about the Drews that bothered the people that they were friends with and knew. Lori Drew did not really mature as she got older. To add to the mix, she was a woman seething with resentment, envy, paranoia, needed a sense of belonging, and entitlement. Any perceived slighting, she would take it very personal and everything revolved around her. People who knew Lori Drew did not have really kind words to say about her. They often described as annoying, mean, abrasive, and a bully. Also mixed with a very sociable, clingy, talkative, and acted like if she was your friends. Many people who were around Lori Drew tried to avoid her and some families had code words to stop talking to her. Lori Drew felt like she had to belong to every organization and be invited to every party in the neighborhood. She was never really liked in the neighborhood she lived in and would find out later that the whole world hates her.
Neighbors and people who knew with the Drews described them as very pushy and often intervening in petty squabbles of their children, especially their daughter. Whenever any slighting happened on their children, especially on Sarah, they would get really upset over it. Lori Drew would go as far as mistreating that child who she felt slighted her daughter. Chrstine Buckles, who was the neighbor of the Drews, said that Lori Drew was talking bad about Megan because she was losing weight faster than her own daughter, Sarah. Lori thought Sarah was losing weight faster, but that was not the case. Megan and Sarah hanged out all the time on Fridays and Saturdays, but rarely on Sundays. It made Sarah feel abandoned and that added to the seething rage in Lori Drew. Perhaps Sarah learned to feel abandoned by her mother, so they can build up her rage.
Christine Buckles recalled that Lori Drew made a vow that Sarah would lose weight. Sarah was losing weight alright, but Megan was losing weight faster. Lori Drew complained about how Megan was causing tension with Sarah. Drew went as far as bat mouthing Megan for losing weight faster than Sarah. Sometimes in 2006, Megan stopped hanging out with Sarah because of Lori Drew’s building resentment towards Megan.
Lori Drew tried to talk to the Meiers to not send Megan to Immaculate Conception School, in which she would be away from the bullies. Despite her pleas, Megan ended up in private school and was improving. Drew could not bear the fact that Megan is no longer with Sarah and that made her infuriated, compounding with the fact at Megan called Sarah a “Lesbian”. It appears that it broke the camel’s hump. If it was being called a “Lesbian”, perhaps Lori Drew saw this as an attack not only on her daughter, but herself.
Community Backlash

The Meiers went to the garage where they stored the Foosball table. Initially Ron wanted to hack, kill, and behead the whole Drew family into bloody pieces, but for some reason showed some strong restraint. That sentiment of the Drews getting killed like that or worse would be shared by the public a year later. Tina used an ax, while Ron used a sledgehammer and smashed up the Foosball table. One would wonder why they did not smash up the Drew family into a bloody pulp. Perhaps they showed great restraing, which the Drews lacked. They got a cardboard and sprayed, “Merry Christmas” on it and put the destroyed Foosball table on the truck and dumped it on the Drews.
A commotion started to occur which got the neighbors attention. The Drews saw their Foosball table destroyed and tried to talk to the Meiers. However, that did not work and Mr. Meier had to be restrained. Lori Drew calls the police after her Foosball table was destroyed. The police came to the Meiers and she confesses her involvement in the My Space hoax that led to Megan’s suicide. She admitted to the police that the messages were sexual in nature.
Once Lori Drew pressed charges against the Meiers for destroying her Foosball table, neighbors begin to turn against her and her family. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was involved. The FBI told the neighborhood to keep quiet about it, so the investigation would not be compromised. However, it added to the frustration of the community. After the suicide happened, Lori Drew tried to cover her track as the FBI was investigating.
When the community found out, they started to shun the Drews. The Drews would get nasty looks from neighbors. Of course, only the community about what the Drews did. Someone threw a brick thrown at her kitchen window doing substantial damage. Someone used a paintball gun and shot their windows. Also, the Drews had five fake 911 calls placed on them. Also, Ron Meier drove his truck on their lawn out of anger, costing them hundreds of dollars of damage on the Drew’s lawn. The Drews pressed charges against Ron Meier for doing that, but later dropped it. One Megan’s relative posted this sign on the anniversary of her death:
“Justice for Megan Meier,” “Call the St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney,” and “MySpace Impersonator in Your Neighborhood.”
There were even protests in front of the Drew’s residence. They were telling them to leave and never come back. Despite it all, the Drews were acting if nothing happened and she shrugged it off as a joke. She was showing no remorse despite the shunning, even though she complained of a backlash and failed to covered her own tracks. However, the backlash against Lori Drew would explode like a bomb and on her face.
Pokin Around
Steve Pokin
Once the FBI could not find any laws broken, Megan’s aunt, Vicki Dunn contacted a journalist named Steve Pokin of the Suburban Journals, about year after she died. Pokin wrote an article about Internet harassment, which prompted him to write about Megan’s suicide. The article got published, which was titled, “Pokin Around: A Real Person, A Real Death”. It was first published on November 10, 2007 and was over a year since Megan had died on October 17, 2006. The article did not identify Lori Drew and got a lot of responses, mostly anger directed at the Drews and condolences for the Meiers. When people read the article, it triggered outrage and many decided to post the article on message boards and blogs to spread the word. The response on many blogs was outrage directed at the Drews.
Right after Pokin wrote his article, Tina Meier was shopping in the stores and went into one of the businesses and told them to read the article about her daughter. That business was a client of Drew Ad-Vantage, which prints coupons for small businesses. While, Meier was shopping, Lori Drew was also shopping around. Drew ran into Meier and told her, “Give it a rest.” That would prove to be another fatal mistake for Lori Drew. As word of this case begin to spread, news media outlets begin to pick it up. Despite the Drews being identified by bloggers, they did not reveal the name of the family involved. What Steve Pokin did not realize was that his news story was a cause celebre and he did not anticipate a massive response. Lori and Curt Drew became infamous after bloggers were able to identify the people behind it. Most people credit a blogger by the name of Sarah Wells, which got a lot of visits after she identified the perpertrators of the hoax. However, it was actually a 20 year old Rhode Island blogger who identified the Drews. In fact, they even identified the daughter of Curt and Lori Drew as Sarah, who was involved. Before Pokin wrote his article, the Drews were just neighborhood pariahs that everyone shunned and they were going to find out that the whole world hates them as well.
Pilloried To The Ground
After Pokin’s article was spreading throughout the Internet, everything that Lori Drew built in her life started tumbling down. Public opinion was overwhelmingly against the Drews and largely to a point of violence. The Drews and later on the Grills became America’s most hated people, besides Osama bin Laden and Fred Phelps, who are reviled for their evil acts ranging from picketing funerals to international terrorism. Lori Drew seriously underestimated the consequences of her action and became an infamous figure. Her life was going to change forever for the worse. Yet, she still was acting like business as usual. The backlash against the Drews was mounting rapidly against them and could not stop the cascade of an outraged public. The Drews start to receive a deluge of nasty messages and death threats via mail, phone, and Internet. Their phone would ring at all hours of the day, even at night. The constant ringing kept them awake at night. Even when they were gone, the phone would ring endlessly with their answering machine full of nasty insults and death threats. It is likely that people worldwide were sending harassing message to the Drews. The messages were filled with profanity and threats of violence. Some were full of ugly insults directed at Lori Drew and her family. Also, the Drews had entries on popular blogs like Jezebel, People You Will See In Hell, and Rotten Neighbors. They got the most comments and it was overwhelmingly against them and many said they should rot in Hell. The outraged public turned Lori Drew and company into “Adolf Hitler”, “Osama bin Laden”, and “Charles Manson”, who are evil figures and are reviled by many because they killed many people. I am Canadian, and what attracts mew to this case, is I cannot believe there are no laws against this sort of thing in the US. It’s unbelievable. In Canada, you would be possibly looking at a felony charge being pressed against Mrs. Drew. I agree that Lori Drew is getting exactly what she deserves. Lori Drew is a psychopath. That part is clear. But more disturbing than that are the actions of authorities: If it had been an adult MALE that “carried on” in a sexually explicit way with a 13 year old girl, even if it WERE for the purposes of revenge for his teen daughter, he’d be locked up as a pedophile. Second, there are al-READY laws on the books that cover this type of harassment. For chrissake: just implement them! What is particularly chilling to me, is that Lori Drew knew that the victim was known to be suicidal in the past. That means that her statement to her that the “world would be better off without you” or whatever it was… is even MORE chilling: it means she was TRYING to steer this girl to suicide. It means she had a desire to push it in that direction, and did so. Reminds me of Charles Manson. He never “technically” put his own hands upon his victims either, but he “made it happen” by manipulating people, I mean that’s the premise upon which he was convicted: that he had INCITED it. Same thing here. Lori Drew incited this suicide and should be just as responsible as Manson was when he incited those murders—and she should also be treated just like any other adult who engages in online relationships of a sexual nature with under-aged children.
Are you kidding me? The newspaper was extremely stupid to not post their names. That was the first thing I wanted to find out. I wanted to find out who these monsters were so I could find them and make sure they didn’t do this to any other teenage girls or humanity ever again. I applaud the bloggers who posted their names for all to see. They are true humanitarians. Why are the newspaper so concerned with protecting the identity of the self-admitted child predators? Lori Drew used extreme and vicious psychological terror and manipulation to hurt a depressed teenager. Mrs. Drew knows what it is like to be a teenager. perhaps she was trying to avenge some psychological trauma she encountered as a teenager. Whatever the case may be, Lorie and Curt Drew are the sickest, most vile human beings on the planet, right next to Jeffrey Dahmer.

I just read about this C*** in the Los Angeles Times. (What a way to start Thanksgiving Day.) Lori Drew is a SOCIOPATH. She manipulated a 13 year old girl into believing her evil constructed scheme. Adding to their woes, people would drive their cars right in front of the Drews at all hours, even at night for a few minutes. Than they would speed off onto the highways. Sometimes, they would shout, “Murderer!”, “Burn In Hell, Lori!”, “Rot In Hell!” and various other insults. It is also safe to assume that all the ugly insults and death threats via phone and e-mail are similar to what was posted on blogs. The deluge of outrage did not stop there. Someone was able to hack the welcome message of Drew’s business and cell phone that said:
“This is Lori Drew the world famous MySpace murderer, if you would like some advice about how to kill a beautiful teenager, you have come to the right place.”
If all the hate mail, death threats, and ugly insults were bad enough, that was part of their increasing problem and gets more trivial for them. Someone out of anger decided to make a fake 911 call on the Drews by calling that there was a dead body in the house. Next thing, dozens of police officers armed with pistols and shotguns stormed the Drews and had them down on the floor. When they found no weapon on Curt, the police left. This was their sixth fake 911 call they were subjected too and the Drews realized their life is going downhill very quickly. The Drews were getting fearful since their names, address, phone number and pictures are all over the Internet for the world to see. As they are bombarded with harassment and death threats of all forms, the Drews and later on the Grills begin to take on a bunker mentality.
Fallout
The Drews are virtual prisoners.
The Drews start to close all their blinds and keep it dark. They disconnect all their phones and stopped their cell phone service. If a reporter requested to interview the Drews, Jerry Shreeces would come out and say they do not want to speak. The Drews installed security cameras up to record people who might attack their house and themselves. They rarely ventured out only when necessary, but likely got nasty looks wherever they went. At one point, the Drew family left the house for a week because of fear they would be a target of deadly violence, sometimes around Thanksgiving. They realized they were not safe anyone, not even their own home. They took such a bunker mentality that Curt Drew would use the minivan to check the mailbox thinking he would be less vulnerable to being attacked. He checked the mail only to find it full of hate mail and possibly mail filled with white powder directed at them. Perhaps, Lori and Curt Drew looked under the car or checked the mail to see if anyone placed a bomb, which would explode and possibly killing them.
They were most likely subjected to many vandalism on their house, but did not report it to police because they were fearful of them after being subjected to half a dozen fake 911 calls with police storming their house with guns drawn on them. All those fake 911 calls happened between December of 2006 to November of 2007. Also, if they made any attempt to press charges, they would be opening themselves to more ridicule. Sarah was subjected to endless harassment and threats made at her by students at school for her role in the cruel hoax. The school she attended told her to leave because they could do little about stopping the harassment, which is rather unusual. She even left the Drew household to live with relatives for her own safety. Lori was deathly afraid to even reveal where her daughter was living at. Most likely, she feared, the daughter will be targeted too, besides herself or she is afraid she will go to prison. It likely gave her a false sense of safety because she was likely harassed at the other school she went and had to transfer out.
The Grills are taking a hit from the avalanche of backlash. Ashley Grills who wrote the final message had a serious nervous breakdown right after Megan died and even attempted suicide and had to be committed to a mental hospital over this. When it was revealed that Grills was involved, she too got same fate that befell the Drews. Grills got a lot of death threats and ugly insults hurled at her. It was the same message that the Drews were receiving. She had a wide presence online and had to delete all her accounts because they were flooded with death threats and hate mail. Also, the Grills take on a bunker mentality and would not go out of the house for days at a time. She was fearing for her own life and did not want to end up in a pool of blood on the sidewalk.
As for the Mulfords, one could guess that Jessica was likely subjected to vicious harassment that befell Sarah for her role. It is very possible that Jessica had to withdraw from school and go into seclusion. Neighbors say that they leave their lights on all night, perhaps out of fear that they too will be target of lethal violence, like the Drews and Grills.
The Drew’s and Grill’s reputation are in total shambles, their livelihood took a hit by the cascading outrage. Clients were fleeing Drew Ad-Vantage as if it was the plague. The clients of her business were too taking a hit from the outrage. They too were getting hit by harassing calls and hate mail from all over the world. Also, locals would insult the business owners for doing business with Lori Drew. Many review sites were getting scathing reviews for just simply being Drew’s client. They also saw a drop in business, especially around Christmas time. Many of these businesses’s livelihood are largely dependent around Christmas time. Some of the businesses that used Drew’s coupon business were in danger of folding. Her business folded onto itself, which she ran for about nine years. If Lori Drew’s livelihood was destroyed, it did not stop there. Curt Drew was a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker and got terminated after they received a lot of phone calls and e-mail. Coldwell Banker did not want a person connected to a reviled person, which is bad for business and reputation. Curt Drew later got a job at Burlington Coat Factory as a salesman, but his tenure was short and was told to leave. Their livelihood cease to exist and now they have to live off of their savings, which they were running very low on.
No Charges
St. Charles County DA Jack Banas
The St. Charles County District Attorney (DA) Jack Banas just got word of the case. He did not know about until Pokin broke it. One wonders why he did not even know about this case, despite the fact that the sheriff and FBI were involved. Jack Banas looked into the case and decided to file no charges on December 4, 2007. In some ways, it added more to the firestorm against the Drews and Grills and now to Banas. Banas was inundated with angry phone calls, hate mail, and even death threats from all over the world. He was called Joe Bananas, Jack Baños (Spanish for bathroom), and various other ugly insults that befell the Drews and Grills. The constant barrage of angry messages took a toll on his life. It put a lot of stress on him and his reputation at stake. Some were even calling for his removal. Many viewed him as a spineless and worthless DA. There were even talks of recalling Banas and having him removed from his position.
Meanwhile, the Drews’s lawyer, Jim Briscoe appeared on NBC’s Today Show to deny that she was the mastermind of the hoax. Instead she put the blame on her own daughter, Sarah and Ashley Grills. Lori Drew painted herself as a victim of a “lynch” mob. Even though she was not on My Space for most of the time. She claimed that she did not know that mean messages were being sent to Megan. Grills viewed Lori Drew as a mother figure in her life and now saw her as a monster, who made her a scapegoat. As for Sarah, she likely feels deeply resentful about her mother putting the blame on her. Lori Drew has not spoken out about her role in this cruel hoax, despite having a lawyer and has been silent about it. The lawyer has told her to be silent because if she says anything and gets sued, she could lose. Also, none of Lori Drew’s relatives have spoken out, possibly because they feel ashamed or she may go after them.
Lori Drew Had It Coming

The Drews and Grills were in total ruins, someone wrote a vile blog called Megan Had It Coming. A notorious Internet “troll” named Jason Fortuny, who was infamous for using Craig’s List to lure men by posing as a woman in September of 2006. He than posted their photos, address, e-mail, and phone numbers. He became the most hated person on the Internet for his Craig’s List infamy. He was subjected to numerous hate mail, death threats, and even lawsuits. He authored this blog as a way to question the public’s hunger for remorse and challenge the cyberharassment laws. Or he had another reason, it was a form of redemption by going after Lori Drew since he was despised. He wanted to go after a woman that everyone hated and make himself feel like a hero.
The blog emerged about a week after Pokin wrote his story. The first entry was written by someone named “Kristen”, who was Megan’s classmate. The person claims that Megan was a real drama queen and really annoying. It was initially thought that Lori Drew wrote the blog, which shows her vileness. On the other hand, if she really wrote the blog, she would only incriminate herself. The next entry, which was when Banas decided to file no charges against her, revealed herself to be Lori Drew. Also, she further attacked Megan. The blog got a lot angry replies, which were the same nature as she was getting through e-mail and phone calls.
Federal Charges

Once Lori Drew escaped state charges, she thought she was off the hook and took a sigh of relief. However, the outraged was still raging on and in some ways, she was even worse off. The blogosphere and forums after forums continued to attack Lori Drew and Ashley Grills. Around Christmas, it is likely that the Drews are likely shopping for Christmas gifts and as they are doing their shopping, they get nasty looks from the public. Some people likely just veered away from the Drews. Possibly they did not want to be near the Drews or possibly get hurt by the outraged public.
On January 9, 2008, in Los Angeles, the federal prosecution announced they would investigate the case. However, the victim was not Megan Meier, but instead it was My Space. She was investigated for defrauding My Space and conspiracy. The notion of federal charges likely made Lori Drew feel more fearful about her future.
Lori Drew was indicted by a federal grand jury on May 15, 2008. Lori Drew probably felt scared that she could go to prison for up to 20 years. If she was sentenced to 20 years, she would be almost 70 years old by the time she is released from prison. She would probably not see her children graduate and be a target of other prisoners. On June 16, 2008, she flew to Los Angeles to go to court. She pleas not guilty and posted a $20,000 bail in front of U.S. District Judge George Wu. She probably was feeling scared the whole time because everyone knows who she is and likely got nasty looks from passengers and flight attendants during her first flight since Pokin broke the news. Many conditions were placed on Lori Drew. She cannot not have Internet access, get a passport to travel outside of America, and only allowed to travel in Missouri and Illinois. Also, she would be subjected to random searches by law enforcement. The trial date was originally set for July 29, 2008, but Lori Drew’s lawyer appealed to delay and the judge agreed to move it to October 7, 2008.
The Drews decided to put their home on the market and planned to move out of the neighborhood for good. It is most likely they put their home on the market to pay their legal bills and also being not welcomed in the community. They probably planned on selling the house for some time, so they can quietly leave for another area.
Defense attorney H. Dean Steward, one of Lori Drew’s defense attorney wanted the charges dropped because it could criminalize millions of people on July 24. The prosecutor countered by saying that Lori Drew had criminal intents because she wanted to lure her and go to a public place and humiliate her. Attorney Steward tried to get medical records of Megan Meier to see if the change of anti-depressants caused her suicide. Another hearing occurred on September 4, 2008 and Judge Wu rejected two motions to have the case dismissed. He would consider the third motion and scheduled another hearing on September 23, 2008.
Lori Drew and her family moved out of her neighborhood to some undisclosed location, most likely in California, where she is allowed to be in. Very likely, it will be revealed because everyone knows what Lori and Curt Drew look like, since their photos were posted all over the Internet. In all probabilities, they will be have to move out again for years to come regardless of what happens because neighbors shun her like at her previous community. Also there is the prospect that she could end up in prison and possibly get killed by other inmates.
Trial By Jury
Lori Drew’s trial started on November 18, 2008 with the selection of potential jurors after Judge Wu denied a motion for a bench trial. Another setback for Drew, Judge Wu allowed the suicide as evidence in the trial. Jurors were being selected and 80 percent knew about this case. Many of the jurors had highly unfavorable opinions of Lori Drew, the level of venom, which made the defense team concerned. The trial started on November 19, 2008 with Tina Meier testifying, which started calmly than ended tearfully when her daughter Megan died.
As Meier is testifying, Lori Drew is sitting there acting all stoic with no expression on her face. In her eyes, she feels she did the right thing by going after Megan for perceived teasing of her daughter Sarah. What Drew does not realize is she destroyed her whole family, Grills, and others involved and is the target of scorn. When Sarah Drew testified she was at her breaking point and was sobbing as she missed her friend Megan. On November 26, 2008, jurors found Lori Drew guilty on three federal misdemeanor charges that carry a year in prison and $100,000 fine each. When Drew learned of the verdict, she was angry with rage and knew her life is over as it is. Judge Wu acquitted Lori Drew on July 2, 2009.
The prosecutor however has appealed Judge Wu’s decision. Drew’s legal woes are not over as a result.

My Comments
I thought Fred Phelps was a scumbag, but when Lori Drew came along, we have a bigger one. I do not recall anyone this hated since Osama bin Laden. Not that I am comparing the horrid acts of Bin Laden to Drew. If Lori Drew had been remorseful and begged for forgiveness, this whole thing would of probably burned itself out. They probably would have been subjected to some vilification, but not the deluge of hatred they got. Lori Drew would not be subjected to ugly insults and death threats, nor be lumped with figures like Hitler or Stalin. Immaturity, resentment, envy, revenge, entitlement, being your children’s friend, and over protectiveness mixed with psychopathy resulted in tragic consequences. Whether Drew intended to have Megan commit suicide or not is debatable. However, what she did to the Meiers afterwards and showing no remorse is what did it for the Drew family. A unknown family that became the most hated in the world. If the dictionary had a photo of worthless, Lori Drew would be that picture. Drew is a very catty woman who gossips all the time and any slighting on her, she goes berserk over it. Sadly, there are a lot of people like Lori Drew, ranging from fathers who attack umpires after making calls on their child or mothers upset that their daughter did not make the cheerleading team. I will later explain why I think she is not mentally ill.
Wanda Holloway, Dean Corll, and Gertrude Baniszewski
The case reminds me of the Wanda Holloway, Gertrude Baniszewski, and Dean Corll. The Texas Cheerleading Mom case happened back in 1991, which I remember well. It is a fair comparison, since both Drew and Holloway were so wrapped up with their children’s life. She was such a moron because she felt her daughter Shanna Harper should be in the cheerleading team. Both Drew and Holloway were people in relatively high standing. Holloway was a secretary and played the organ at her church. There are not many organ players in America and the world; they are an elite bunch. Drew owned a thriving advertising business and was a member of Chamber of Commerce. Both lived the American dream and yet she somehow both had the gall to do something vile. Holloway wanted her daughter Shanna to be a cheerleader, even though she was not interested in being one. Drew wanted to boost Sarah’s self-esteem and be her friend. Talk about entitlement run amok! Everyone has been through this before when we were all thirteen in junior high. Friends for one day and not friends the next day. Very common among girls, who are in some ways worse than boys. If Lori Drew had done nothing, more than likely, Megan would become friends with Sarah because she wanted the prank to end.
As for Corll and Baniszewski, they had teenagers involved to do the dirty work. Corll had two teenagers lure, torture, rape, and murder their victims in Houston from 1970 to 1973. They killed a total of 27 people and Corll was killed by Wayne Henley after he felt threatened by him. Corll was considered the worst serial killer at the time of his death, which was dubbed the “Houston Mass Murder” because the term serial killer did not exist. Baniszewski had her children and other teenagers torture Sylvia Likens because she was lashing out at the world for her own failures in life in Indianapolis. There are major differences from Lori Drew. Corll was a sick pervert and self-hating homosexual serial killer who killed +27 people. Baniszewski was a rage-filled and depressed woman who saw herself as a failure. She needed a scapegoat and lashed out on Likens. She was enraged the Sylvia was spreading rumors abot her daughter being pregnant, which was true.
I first saw this story on a message board in mid-November of 2007 and at first I thought it was a hoax because of the bizarre nature of the incident. Also, the suicide happened a year before it was written. It was posted by someone from the same area where the incident occurred. I decided to look into this and it turned out to be true and I was outraged by it. The article did not name the people responsible for this horrible prank to protect their children. Outraged bloggers were able to identify the perpetrator of this cruel prank because the article had some clues. I thought not naming the people responsible for the cruel hoax made the firestorm worse. Prior to Lori Drew, I said to myself that Fred Phelps is the most vile scumbag. However, Lori Drew is much worse than he is. Well, both of them are rotten scumbags of the lowest denomination and are billed as the most hated people besides Osama bin Laden and Kim Jong-Il.
Lot of things made Lori Drew the most hated person in some time. First, she was an over involved parent. A lot of parents, teachers, professors, teacher’s assistant, and even managers have dealt with them before. Helicopter parents as we know have always been around since the dawn of civilization. There was a fear of social networking sites because of strangers, perverts, and child molesters could use them to lure their victims. People hate perverts and child molesters and for good reasons. Child molesters are about as hated as terrorists and dictators. Nobody likes a bully. Almost everyone who was Megan’s age can relate to her. Bullies are viewed as cowardly and studies have shown they are more likely to commit crimes. Lastly, Lori Drew, Sarah Drew, and Ashley Grills are obese, people tend think obesity is linked with laziness. A fact of life is there is prejudice against obese people in general, which went against Lori Drew. I am not being prejudice or anything, just stating facts. Of course obesity is not healthy and one should lose weight for their sakes because it is linked to various medical problems.
Cyberbullies are the biggest cowards. They are the scum of the Earth, besides rapists, pedophiles, serial killers, bleeding hearts, communists, terrorists, and racists. They act all big and powerful on the Internet because they know in real life that they will be easily intimidated. Bullies like to act all strong and mighty and intimidate people. In reality, bullies are really weak minded who are obsessed with their self-esteem and want project their resentment to the world. What happened to, “At the flagpole at 3:00 PM”? When did the Internet become a place to intimidate people? If one has to use the Internet to bully people, they are truly pathetic and worthless people. It shows, they are truly cowards.
I knew a huge Internet firestorm would come and the Drews were going to be the most hated people in America and the world. I predicted they would be flooded with hate mail, death threats, be ostracized, and targets of vandalism. All my predictions rang true. Perhaps, I even underestimated it. The Internet exploded with extreme anger and outrage. Some bloggers posted address and phone numbers of the Drews and later on the Grills all over the Internet. Also, both Curt and Lori Drew and Ashley Grills pictures were posted. Not surprisingly, their appearances were subjected to ugly insults due to fact that that they called Megan “fat”. Talk about pot calling kettle black.
Could Lori Drew's relative be the Phelpses of Westboro Baptist Church and Michael Crook?
Lori Drew resembles Fred Phelps and his equally demented children in appearance and behavior (Four of his children defected due to abuse). Phelps is the leader of Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) of Topeka and it is made up of Phelps and his whole extended family. They are notorious for picketing funerals and their vile slogans, “God hates fags” and “Thank God for 9/11″. Lori Drew’s face and hair looks like Phelps, except the eye color is different. There are differences between Phelps and Drew in appearance. Lori Drew is overweight, while Phelps is not overweight at the present moment, which he was in the past. Phelps and his followers were overweight and obese at one point in their life. Some WBC members are still overweight and obese as of today. Phelps hates obese people, as much as he hates homosexuals. Phelps is tall, while Drew is about average height for a woman. Both exhibit deviant behaviors of the worst kind. However, there are differences in Phelps and Drew in their deviances. Phelps is a raging, hate-filled, and megalomaniac with a messiah and superiority complex. He pickets funerals and violently abused his own children and wife. Drew is a jealous and resentful person, who pents up her rage at every slighting. They likely came from the dirty gene pool that spawned both of them. I sometimes wonder if they are related to each other. It is known that the Phelpses have illegitimate children, most notably Shirley Phelps-Roper and Jonathan Phelps. In fact, they got plenty of skeletons in the closet. It would not surprise me if Drew and Phelps are some how related and I even think she is Fred Phelps’s bastard daughter. As I pointed it out, Drew was born in Dover and it does not clearly identify her parents, but it does identify her husband’s parents. It is possible she could be born out of wedlock, which carried a stigma back than. To date, none of Lori Drew’s relatives have spoken out, which could raise the specter that her relatives are WBC members. Also, we hear very little from her mother, father, brother, and relatives. I am assuming her brother is estranged from her.

Phelps rails against sexual deviations possibly because he engages in them and his family are a bunch of inbreds that likely practice incest, fornification, and polygamy. It is known that people who are vocal critics of sexual acts, like adultery or homosexuality, are likely do to engage in them. Perhaps Phelps is an adulterer and rails against adultery as much as he does with homosexuality. Phelps was silent about Megan Meier’s suicide right after Pokin wrote the story. Phelps has been known to open his mouth when young people, including children get killed like the Amish school shooting, Brianna Denison and Lauren Burke. Her death and he stayed silent about it. We will probably never know why he never said a word about it. Interestingly, he did not make a flyer about Hurricane Ike when it ravaged Texas, which he did for the bus crash that claimed 17 Vietnamese Catholics in North Texas. The Supreme Court overturned sodomy laws in 2003 which involved a Houston case known as Lawrence v. Texas. Five years later, Ike made landfall in the Houston area, but Phelps said little of it. He claimed he would make a statement about Ike through a and video, but only made a mention of it in his sermon. However, he made a video blog about Hurricane Gustav and sent out a flyer for Tropical Storm Fay flooding Florida. As for Phelps being silent on Megan Meier’s death, he is deathly afraid that Lori Drew could be exposed as his illegitimate daughter. One thing is during the trial, we heard little to none of Lori Drew’s mother and her childhood. He could be outed as a hypocrite, the very things he rails against. If Fred Phelps does have a bastard child and in this case, Lori Drew, it would cause WBC to tumble. If Phelps is outed as an adulterer, that would be just as bad for him if he was outed as a gay man, which in all probabilities he is. Also, the cruel hoax was exposed after WBC lost their lawsuit in Maryland and that could put them at a bigger peril for their own demise. Also, they have other legal problems of their own. Both Drew and Phelps ought to appear on The Maury Povich Show and do those paternity tests to see who is the biological father.
The reason I think Lori Drew is a wedlock child, whether she is related to Fred Phelps or not is that why is she born in Dover, Delaware, not Missouri or Kansas. Most of her family, at least on the maternal is from the Midwest. It could be as simple as that her parents traveled to Dover for business or vacation. Another possibility, assuming if Lori Drew is not a wedlock child, is that her father served in the military. That would mean her family moved to Dover, which is common with military families. Dover is the home to Dover Air Force Base, which was established during World War II. Assuming Lori Drew is a wedlock child, she was born in Delaware because her mother wanted to give her up for adoption and at the last minute decided not too. Delaware is furthest from the Midwest and she would give birth without anyone knowing what happened.

This case brought out human nature to hate certain people to unify humans to avoid killing each other. Lori Drew fell into the hole of being hated by everyone. It is human nature to hate certain people from the brink of turning on one another. It is like glue for humanity. That term is known as “anger without a target”. Lori Drew would be in this elite club made up of mostly traitors, murderers, rapists, fringe elements, and the perverted. Lori Drew is in the same shoe like Adolf Hitler, Pol Pot, Osama bin Laden, Charles Manson, Benedict Arnold, and David Cash Jr. are in the elite club, known as the “Hall of the Shamed and Damned”, which is you are shunned for life and hated by almost everyone. Even in death, you are still despised like if you were alive. They are in it because they did some so abhorrent like genocide, terrorism, treason, murder, and being a coward. Lori Drew became a member of this “elite” club that most people do not want to be in. Membership for this “elite” club is free because the requirement is do something reprehensible to society, which she did. Also, once you are in that club, membership is permanent, you cannot get out of it. She would later find out the Internet was even harsher on her and family. Later on, the Grills would get same fate as the Drews.
The anger directed at the Drews were largely vengeful and violent at times. Many wished to see the Drews brutally attacked ranging from throats slashed, have their houses burned down with them trapped inside, gang raped, and being dragged to death. Many social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace setup a Megan Meier tribute and anti-Lori Drew group. One wrote that Hitler should of killed the Drews not the six million Jews in Europe. One wished Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold be brought back from the dead to terminate the Drews like they did at Columbine High School. Some suggested she go live in Afghanistan with the terrorists. This story really struck a nerve worldwide, rich and poor alike, since everyone worldwide was a teenager and knew what it was liked to be bullied. Nobody likes bullies or over involved parents. Also, there was a hysteria over social networking sites. One online site rated Lori Drew as the worst person in the world and is one of the most hated person. Another blog suggested that Lori Drew is likely the person you will see in Hell along with other evil people. Lori Drew got the same fate that befell people who blamed America first for 9/11. Multiple blogs listed Lori Drew as the worst person on the Internet and and in the world. Usually, that title is reserve for terrorists and dictators. I also knew they would be compared to some of history’s most evil people and I predicted Hitler and Stalin.

Low and behold, Drew was put in league with evil figures, many who personify evil. She was compared with Hitler, Stalin, and Osama bin Laden, who personify evil of the worst kind. I will say that the comparison of Lori Drew to Hitler, Stalin, and Bin Laden is a bit over the top because it trivializes those untold number of people who were horribly maimed and killed. Hitler exterminated two-thirds of the European Jewish population and had millions killed in death camps and in the field because they did not conform to Hitler’s standards. Stalin had seven million people killed in the famine in Ukraine and sent untold millions to Gulags in Siberia to only die from harsh labor and mass executions. Stalin did this to collectivize Soviet Union, which ended in death and mayhem. Together, Hitler and Stalin killed about 200 million people in genocides and wars and left Eurasia a complete mess. The 9/11 Terrorists attacked the World Trade Center and Pentagon, which sent the towers crumbling down and claiming 3,000 lives on live television. In addition, there are long term health problems from the attack and they are dying as well. Also, many are still grieving over their loss and more than half of the families who lost loved ones have not gotten their remains since they got incincerated from the airplane crash and resulting destruction. Many are still feeling the ill effects from 9/11 and is a very emotional and touchy subject, which it is for me personally. Sadly, years after the 9/11 attack, some people have died, due to respriatory problems. More people will die because of 9/11 over the next decade(s).
In some ways, comparing Lori Drew to Hitler Bin Laden, and various other mass killers is fair because her justification and Machiavellian with psychopathic tendencies like they were. Drew justified the harassment because Sarah was being harassed and called a “Lesbian”. Whether it was true or not, that is no excuse. Lori Drew’s justification is similar to what Hitler, Harris/Klebold, and Bin Laden used. They were paranoid and violent. Hitler wanted to teach Europe and Jews a lesson by invading and exterminating Jews and other “undesirable” people. That tragically led to World War II. Harris and Klebold justified attacking Columbine High School because they felt persecuted and bullied, even though they were the bullies and hatemongers themselves. Harris and Klebold wanted to teach Columbine a lesson by attacking it. Bin Laden and the 19 hijackers felt America deserved to be attacked on September 11, 2001 because America, Israel, and the West were persecuting Muslims. The justification Lori Drew used can be said of many mass murderers, terrorists, and dictators. We could go on and on about this.
Drew is also Machiavellian because she organized other people to do her scheme and was bent on revenge to make her feel good about herself and a sense of power. She used desception to make Megan’s life a living Hell, which resulted in her suicide. Hitler and Stalin used deception to maintain power and kill millions of people and lead the world into war which resulted in total destruction. Bin Laden used religion, Islam, to make people engage in terroristic acts, including the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attacks. Hitler, Stalin, and Bin Laden felt persecuted, like Drew did and acted on their rage. In their mind, they wanted to teach someone a lesson. Hitler went after Jews and Slavs, while Stalin went after Jews and capitalists. Bin Laden went after America and Israel because he saw them as enemies to Muslims. Also, Hitler, Stalin, and Bin Laden are reviled because of what they did. No one is going to argue that killing 6 million Jews, 7 million Ukrainians, or 3,000 Americans is disgusting and horrible. They are rightfully hated and for good reason. Lori Drew is about as hated as someone who commits genocide and terrorism. However at the same time, Drew’s crime as outrageous as it is, is NOWHERE on the scale and destruction of the Holocaust, Purge, or 9/11. And no, I am NOT equating Lori Drew’s action to what the Nazis, Communists, and Muslim terrorists did. Hitler, Stalin, and Bin Laden are the WORST MONSTERS ONE CAN EVEN THINK OF. They are the personification of evil right there! Anyone who suffered because of them deserve my sympathy and condolences.
The reason that led to those comparisons is perhaps outraged people were appalled and shocked by it. So they compared Lori Drew to other evil people because she is seen as evil and psychopathic, like Manson or Pol Pot, in which Godwin’s Law comes to mind. It is originally in reference to Hitler and Nazis, but it can also apply to Stalin and Soviet Union. At the same time, people are fascinated by atrocities and evil people, like Stalin, Hitler, Manson, and September 11 Terrorist Attacks. It can also be said that people are fascinated with serial killers like Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer.
Despite the white hot outrage, there were a few vocal people who called for moderation. A few blamed the Meiers for letting Megan use MySpace. However, they were, subjected to vile insults and ripped apart. They were getting pilloried like what befell the Drews and Grills. They were accused of being Lori Drew and company or someone close to them in disguise. Many were ran off and some used it as a way to destroy other people’s reputation on the blogs. In essence, they were told to shut up or get curb smashed. In any case, Lori Drew’s relatives are most likely estranged and even fear her. Also, they feel ashamed of having a big rotten scumbag of a loser in their family. I would be deeply ashamed if Lori Drew was my parent or let alone a relative.
Also, to the people who like to blame the Meiers and want the Drews left alone or suggest Drew made a bad judgement. I have a message for you. If you do not want to read what I have to say, than do not even bother too because you are a bunch spineless cowards of the lowest kind. It is a form of shifting the blame. You like to preach personal responsibilities, but yet shift the blame. Blaming the victim is what psychopaths do and you are different from them. It is a form of blame shifting, which you decry so much. I said before that Drew’s justification is similar to what Hitler, Bin Laden, and Harris/Klebold thought before they acted. You are in league with those people. How hypocritical and inconsistent you are. You are a bunch of evil enablers with no conscious and soul. You are the kind of people who appease evil like Hitler and Stalin. In fact, you are just as bad as Lori Drew, if not worse. You are worthless with no heart and brain. You are in league with people who blame America for 9/11, Manson or Phelps cult followers. You are just a bunch mindless drones. I have tried debating with these scumbags and they often cannot back up their position and they just run away crying like cowards that Lori Drew is. They often engage in name calling and they think they are “I am so holy an better than everyone else” mentality, like some religious person. When they say Lori Drew made a bad judgement, by their thinking, Bernard Madoff, Charles Manson, and Adolf Hitler made a bad judgement, when they intended on harming people. Bad judgement my ass. She clearly was intending to hurt Megan and I am sorry this skank is so pathetic and vapid. Oh and by the way, get yourself an x-ray and surgery on your sorry ass head of yours to see if you have a brain and spine. You all should lined up to the wall and shot and dumped into mass graves. You all too should rot in Hell for eternity along side with your beloved Lori Drew and realize how fucked up you are. In fact you are even more fucked up than Lori Drew. Normally, I do not condone sending death threats and calls for lynchings. However, I feel NO sympathy for Lori Drew and for anyone involved in it. Frankly, I can careless if gangs decided to go after her. I would like to paraphrase Jerry Seinfeld, “Eh, it is a shame.” It is just too bad for Lori Drew and she has to face the music for what she did. She caused the whole mess and has herself to blame SOLELY. Lori Drew ruined a lot of lives. She ruined and destroyed the Meiers. She ruined her own family, the Grills, Mulfords, and other families who had their children involved in this charade. She should never been involved in her daughter’s life to begin with.
Whatever happens to Drews, I can imagine she and any of the people involved in this cruel hoax are going to pay a really steep price. In the end, the Drews, Grills, Mulfords, and others lose. They already lost because public opinion is overwhelmingly against them. She will be a target of multiple lawsuits and will be in huge debt. Debt is not the only thing she has to contend with. Their lives are in shambles and reputation destroyed beyond recognition. Whether Lori Drew goes to prison or not, she has a big target on her back and the stigma cannot be washed off no matter what she tries to do. Lori Drew is going to be a target of animosity for the rest of her life. How will she live for the rest of her life as a pariah is anyone’s guess. I do not know and frankly could care less about how she will live with herself. Perhaps, her children will disown her and husband will divorce and move faraway. Lori will become lonely because no one wants anything to do with her. She may as well join WBC if she is desperate for a sense of belonging, which seems to be obsessed with. Of course they might be gone too since they got sued. As for the Grills, they are in ruins because their home got foreclosed on and also they have many unpaid bills and tickets. They are in legal trouble of their own, which is unrelated to this hoax. As for the Mulfords, Michele and Jessica are in counseling and probably for the rest of their life. They too have a bleak future and many will likely shun them as well.
It is also very possible she and/or her whole family and others involved could be killed by a lynch mob, either in prison or out in public. Prisoners are known to despise people who harm and/or kill children. She will be a the bottom of the prison hierarchy for sure. Many prisoners and even prison guards would love to get their hands on Lori Drew in prison. She will probably end up dead in prison if she is sent to prison. If she is found not guilty, many want to see Lori Drew dead in a pool of blood. Ashley Grills feels very resentful towards Lori Drew. She feels she has nothing to lose and as an act of redemption by killing Lori Drew. Desperate people do desperate things. Grills is desperate to make Drew pay for ruining her life and she will do anything to destroy Lori Drew. Also, Ron Meier still has the primal urge to kill Lori Drew and her pathetic family. Another possibility is that it could be someone who knew Lori Drew in the past and has ax to grind with her. He or she wants to settle an old score with her. In addition, she could be estranged from her own family and relatives. As a way to bring some respect back, one of her relatives might kill her because they see her as a black sheep. It would not even surprise me if Sarah decides to kill her own mother because she is resentful for what she ruining her life and feels that she is doing the right thing.
As for why DA Jack Banas did not prosecute her because no laws exist in the books, his reasoning is weak. Granted, what Drew did was on MySpace, but beyond it, it is no different from what Wanda Holloway did or mothers who take their children to beat up other children. Hello, are you familiar with those cases? Just because it happened on MySpace is the same way a person harasses by phone. What is known is that Lori Drew was well connected to the community prior to her fall from grace. Perhaps someone was protecting her from prosecution. We do know that her father is a prominent banker in Kansas City, Missouri. Perhaps, DA Banas will reconsider it since the federal trial exposed what was really going on. Frankly, I had issues with the term of service charges, which I thought it was weak. She should have been charged with manslaughter and stalking, which is a crime right there and is in the book.
Before you think that this federal trial is about punishing Lori Drew. You are actually wrong. Trials are not just to punish people. They are also meant to find facts and there are still many facts still missing. Did Lori Drew really do this not because of Megan saying bad stuff about her daughter, but to get back at the Meiers for sending Megan to a private school, which she tried desperately to talk them out of. In addition, Megan called Sarah a “Lesbian”, but later on Sarah forgave for her for that. It appears that could of broke the camel’s hump. Unforunately, the trial did not get any information about Lori Drew’s childhood and family life. It appears she had a normal childhood, but something in her life changed her or developed personality problems early in her late teens to adulthood. She could had a bad relationship with her mother because we hear very little about her mother, but hear a lot about her father. Perhaps, her mother was like Carrie White’s mother in Stephen King’s Carrie. Shreeves testified in her trial and even lived with her even after everyone knew about it. As I pointed out, she could be an illegitimate child and is feeling empty and resentful about it.
One has to wonder what kind of person Lori Drew is. Clearly, Drew knew what she was doing, which rules out mental illness. I am not a shrink, so please do not use the information as gospel. This is based on the articles I have read about her and what I have determined what characteristics she has. She has a slew of personality problems that likely developed in her teen to early adult years. Lori Drew is narcissistic, paranoid, anti-social, and borderline personality based on the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-IV (DSM-IV) diagnostic criteria. The criteria she meets are in bold.
Drew meets all nine criteria for narcissism:
1.) Has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements).2.) Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love.
3.) Believes that he or she is “special” and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions).
4.) Requires excessive admiration.
5.) Has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable. treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations.
6.) Is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends.
7.) Lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others.
8.) Is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her.
9.) Shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes.
All seven for paranoid personality:
1.)Suspects, without sufficient basis, that others are exploiting, harming, or deceiving him or her.2.)Is preoccupied with unjustified doubts about the loyalty or trustworthiness of friends or associates.
3.)Is reluctant to confide in others because of unwarranted fear that the information will be used maliciously against him or her.

Five of the seven for anti-social personality disorder:

Five of the nine for borderline personality disorder:

Lori Drew is classic textbook case of a psychopath. She shares many traits with serial killers, mass murderers, terrorists, and genocidal dictators. Than again there are many people like Lori Drew, but they do not do horrible things, like she did. Everything has to come together to make someone become a genuine psychopath, like she is. She feels entitled to everything in life and bullied other people to get her way or protect her daughter. Also, she is obsessed with attention and will do anything if it benefits her only. Lori Drew has a symbiotic relationship with a child, self-hater, paranoid, an internalizer and injustice collector, and narcissist.
Drew had a symbiotic relationship with her daughter like Wanda Holloway had with her daughter Shanna. People who knew the Drews described them as pushy and often got involved in their squabbles, especially their daughter. Also, Lori Drew tried to get her daughter involved in everything and people were resentful of that. Drew lived her life through her daughter. Perhaps it stemmed from her own problems in her childhood.
Drew is consumed with self-hate. Lori Drew, Sarah, and Ashley Grills called Megan “fat”. Ironically, Drew and Grills are themselves obese, which one would suspect a lot of issues of self-hatred on their part. It is very possible that Lori and Sarah Drew and Ashley Grills always struggled with weight in their life. There are a lot of people who struggle with their weight and are not evil like Lori Drew. There were other factors as well. Lori Drew could also be a closeted “Lesbian” and when Megan called Sarah a “Lesbian”, it enraged her. She tried to repress her sexuality because deep down she is “Lesbian” and cannot deal with it. Drew is in denial about her sexuality.
Drew is paranoid because she was really enraged about Megan calling Sarah a “Lesbian”. As pointed out, Drew showed her paranoid side when she thought Megan was causing all of Sarah’s problems. Lori probably wanted Sarah to be popular, something that Lori might have been in her adolescent years. Drew saw Megan as the object of contempt and rage. She thought Megan might expose Lori and Sarah Drew as Lesbians.
Drew is an internalizer and injustice collector because a lot of things that Megan perceived to be bullying on Sarah were building up her rage. There were a lot of things going against Lori Drew. People in her neighborhood did not like her to begin with. Most of them avoided her because she was too talkative, which was annoying to many people. When, Drew saw that happening, it likely made her angry, but never showed it outright. It is known that Lori Drew was upset that Sarah was not losing weight fast enough. She also was upset that Megan was losing weight faster and she stopped being friends with Sarah. It is known that Lori Drew bad mouthed Megan for not being friends with Sarah and Drew’s rage was building up. Drew blamed Megan for all of her daughter’s problem. She saw Megan the source of her problem and needed to stop her at all cost. Probably something from her own childhood.
The cruel MySpace hoax was done after Megan allegedly called Sarah a “Lesbian”. This could stem from her own repressed sexual tendencies she has. She has homosexual tendencies and represses them in every way possible, like Fred Phelps. I am not sure about Drew’s opinions on homosexuality or her religious upbringing or if she is religious at all. I would suspect that one of her parents was a strict religious fanatic. It is interesting to note that there are infamous and psychopathic criminals who do come from religiously fanatical parents, like Diane Downs and Gary Gilmore. It is probable in Lori Drew’s case. Strangely, it was not because Megan called her “fat”, which is considered the worst insult one can hurl at. Drew blamed everyone, but herself. She blamed Megan because she know she was depressed. Also, she blamed Ashley Grills and Sarah Drew for the MySpace Hoax. She went as far as blaming Grills for being the instigator of the hoax, when it was her who masterminded it.
She could be a wedlock child and she is very resentful about it and it festered in her. Many infamous figures were wedlock children like Ian Brady, Ted Bundy, and Aileen Wuornos. Back than being a wedlock child carried a lot of stigma and many feel ashamed as a result. Sometimes people who come from illegitimate birth feel deeply resentful. Since, she is such a coward, that she had to pick on Megan, not the parents because they were stronger. Drew is the kind of person who harbors grudges at a lot of people and the Meiers pushed her over the edge.
Drew is a narcissist because she lacks empathy and has an extreme sense of entitlement and jealousy. She feels entitled to everything and projects it through Sarah. Drew tried to get Sarah involved in everything one can imagine. People who knew Lori Drew, described her as someone who always wanted to be invited to every parties and community events. It is true that many people want to be invited to parties, but she took it way extreme. It is very likely Drew was involved in the community. It is known she was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and was likely involved in her church if she did go to church. Most likely she was involved in church activities because church is a center of life for many people and she always wanted to be involved in every way possible. Once again, this is not an attack on religion, but pointing out how being a church goer does not make one a Christian. I have learned this in Bible study and church sermons. As for the jealousy aspect, Lori Drew was upset that Megan Meier was losing weight faster than Sarah. It made Drew really angry and she blamed Megan for the rift between Megan and Sarah.
Drew lacks empathy, which is one the main hallmark of her. Lori Drew may have freaked out when Megan committed suicide only knowing she would probably be in legal trouble. She only felt sorry for herself at that time. Right after Megan died, she showed grief at the funeral and wake, but they were likely fake at best. In reality, she saw Megan as inconvenience and was glad that she was gone. Her narcissism really showed right there. When the Meiers tore up the Foosball, she reported it to the police. She also reported to the police after Ron Meier tore up their own front yard. Lori Drew later dropped the case knowing she would open herself to more backlash in early 2008. After, Steve Pokin, reported about the Megan Meier’s suicide, she ran into Tina Meier and told her to “Give it a rest”. All this would make her one of the most hated person this decade and generation.

What has also been interesting is the apparent lack of empathy or remorse displayed by Drew in the aftermath of the suicide, again demonstrating at least a significant lack of emotional maturity, if not a symptom of an actual personality disorder. Again, though, we only know what the media has published so far. It’ll be interesting to hear more about this case as the facts come out, presumably after all of the legal issues are addressed.

The MySpace Suicide Case is really galling and abhorrent. I put it right up there with the torture and murder of Syliva Likens, Manson Murders, Columbine High School Massacre, and September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attacks. My opinion on Lori Drew, I hate this son of a bitch and her just as pathetic lame ass supporters as much as I hate Osama bin Laden/September 11 Terrorists and Fred Phelps. Yeah, I know better not to equate the killing thousands of people on live television or picketing funerals and violently abusing children and wife, but she is evil and worthless like they are. At least the 9/11 Terrorists are incinerated to the darkest corner of Hell screaming to end their eternal torment. Meanwhile, Osama bin Laden is getting his sorry ass hunted down by our fine men from the military. Fred Phelps and WBC are in danger of collapsing and will off themselves from the gene pool. I do get a good laugh from them for their fixation on gays because they cannot deal with their own problems.
I put Lori Drew right up there with them, besides Hitler, Stalin, and Pol Pot. Once again, I am not equating someone who committed genocide and ruined nations. It is no surprise that Lori Drew is considered the world’s worst person. I do not care if Lori Drew had a love one that died in the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attacks or was stuck in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina flooded the city. It will not get any sympathy from me and is just another way to get some sympathy, which will not cut it with me. It is just another excuse for your action. Surprisingly, she has not used any tragedy or disaster to make any excuses. Of course, it is highly unlikely she had a love one die in any disaster. And for anyone who is trying to change my opinion on this scumbag, too bad. My opinion about her is very low and I regard her as a big scumbag of the lowest denominator that should rot in Hell for eternity. Lori Drew and company are the perfect candidate for retroactive abortion and eugenics. They are the reason why we should bring back eugenics, so scum like them do not ruin this world. The gene pool is polluted and needs a massive clean up. Lori Drew is the poster child for retroactive abortion and eugenics. Also, she is a good argument why abortion should not be banned. Lori Drew and company should be impaled alive and have objects thrown at them. They should be given a painful cocktail of drugs that keeps them alive and makes their pain worse.
A few years in prison is nothing compared to eternity in Hell. There is no parole in Hell and weaseling your way out will do no good. Ya hear that Lori or do I need to repeat it again ya stupid fuck. Lori lives like a monsterous beast and dies like one. God will laugh and mock Lori Drew and throw her to Hell out of spite. Lori Drew and company will rot in Hell with other monsterous beasts like Joseph Stalin, Pol Pot, 9/11 Terrorists, and Elizabeth Bathory. They are all sad and worthless excuses of DNA molecules like they were. Lori Drew will make good company with them. Same goes with anyone who sympathize with Lori Drew and company. They are more than welcome to join her in Hell with other evil freaks. They will be begging for anything to quench their extreme and eternal thirst to only find out they are drinking hot molten lava that will burn them even more. Their thirst cannot be quenched by anything. They will live a life of eternal damnation and torments by demons in Hell. Hell is a cruel and lonely place filled with sickfucks, like your kind. When you go to Hell Lori, please take Fred Phelps/WBC, Kim Jong-Il, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, all the America-hating moonbats, bleeding hearts, and sociopaths with you. We do not want any of your kind here on this planet. They are a plague on humanity and need to be exterminated like you!
